IT Technical Project Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle project management accountability from initiation to closure and ensuring that all activities are delivered on time within scope and budget
  • Lead and oversee implementation of IPS product portfolio related to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Asset Performance Management (APM), Outage Management Solution (OMS) and Asset Investment Planning (AIP) etc. according to the defined plan and company’s project methodology
  • Manage the development of the IPS system concept and design according to industry standards
  • Responsible for monitoring the complete technical aspects of the project and defining corrective measures
  • Manage Customer Relationships and preparation of documents to inform the architecture designs and proposals
  • Work with subject matter experts, support user training and knowledge transfer
  • Support end-users, integration partners and other relevant stakeholders
  • Manage team responsibilities, workload distribution and control projects deliverables
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in accordance with the IPS implementation methodology
  • Act as the single point of contact for projects, provide status updates and reports for all stakeholders
  • Supporting and undertaking Technical Marketing and Sales activities and tasks, as required
  • Supporting Continuous Business Improvement (CBI) and being proactive in developing, promoting and implementing CBI initiatives
  • Performing other job-related assigned tasks

Your Energy

  • Demonstrable experience working as a IT Technical Project Manager or similar with a successful implementation of all project lifecycle phases
  • • IT Systems/Application Degree and preferably a working knowledge/experience with electrical power systems and assets. Applications who also have a Bachelor’s Degree (particularly in Electrical) will be well-regarded
  • Ability to rapidly learn and retain knowledge and gain experience with IPS®SYSTEMS applications, architecture, and understanding of software development, implementation, and maintenance & support lifecycle
  • Detailed understanding of electrical transmission and distribution systems and electricity utility business operations is highly desirable
  • Organized, proactive, and able to deliver on Customer and Company Project Objectives and commitments and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrable ability to work with Customers and other stakeholders to achieve satisfaction and apply positive and effective influencing skills at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills and experience (written and verbal English)
  • Proven to experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project delivery and working with PM tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
  • Project Management qualification/certification (PMP or equivalent is highly desirable)
