Application Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice and expertise to worldwide customers, testing applications, responding to cus-tomer feedback
  • Guide the customer on how to optimize their software usage to get the best out of our products
  • Active role and support for the technical sales process, tendering well as solutions based on customer re-quirements in cooperation with the development team
  • Assistance and support for the creation of technical documents, for instance: user and operational docu-mentation as well as training documentation
  • Support solution and product, configuration, implementation, testing and documentation
  • Working closely with the product development teams to deliver solutions in an agile environment
  • Be involved in all project phases; from design, configuration, workshops, and documentation, to test case definition and execution
  • Templates management; keep track of asset and analytics data models, maintenance templates, analysis of procedures, guidelines
  • Training skills for customer education, onboarding, and demonstrations

Your Energy

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree
  • Technical background domain knowledge in the power industry with basic C# experience
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers and to develop good relationships with them
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery and working with PM tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
  • Nice to know SQL queries, data modeling, python programming, and data analytics
  • An understanding of HV/LV Station assets and secondary equipment is welcome
  • Communicative person speaking excellent English (German would be beneficial)
